So, we had a great and awful time last night getting lost in KC on the way to Hy-Vee. We took a wrong road – because we’re stupid – and sloshed through the freezing cold, and piles of snow past heavy traffic for an extra mile and a half. It was almost 8 pm by the time we got to the store, but they have a cafe in there and they let us sit as long as we wanted since the Hy-Vee is a 24/7 place.
So I, being stupid, lead us off the path to begin with – in my defense, it was one of the ways to get there but on the last turn I was out voted and Laota lead us on a wild goosechase in an apartment complex by the hiway for a half an hour, lol. So, we were both stupid and Mike came along for the ride, but we did get there eventually and the way home? Took us only 30 minutes or less. Annoyed! But at least now we know, right?
